The history of this farm starts in the beginning of the last century. The name “Romanov” comes from the old royal family of Russia. Today, the Romanov breed is famous worldwide for its extraordinary prolificacy, early sexual maturity and out-of-season breeding ability . According to the breeders, the Romanov sheep are very smart, which cannot be said about other species and confirm these arguments with facts. The breed is not desirable for wool production. The name of our farm is „Ram paradise ranch“. A dataset of 4412 lambings of purebred Romanov sheep in a performance test program from 1998 to 2013 was used in analyses. Suffolks are prolific, early maturing sheep with excellent mutton carcasses.They are energetic, and the whole carriage is alert, showing stamina and quality.
